Renovation of a municipal facility in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, parts, travel, incidentals, software registration, and licenses necessary to remove and dispose of fourteen (14) existing security cameras, one (1) Networked Video Recorder (NVR), two (2) monitors, and all related hardware and accessories, and re-install a total of twenty (20) National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) compliant IP cameras, one (1) NDAA compliant Networked Video Recorder (NVR), and one (1) monitor. Bidder must possess, at the time of bid submittal and for the duration of the Agreement, a valid and current C-10 (Electrical Contractor) license issued from the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). Bidder must also possess, at the time of bid submittal and for the duration of the Agreement, a valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Failure to meet minimum qualifications may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. All bidders must adhere to the specified schedule and required dates. Attendance at a mandatory site inspection is required. If the prime contractor is unable to attend, an authorized representative may attend on its behalf and may only sign in for one company. Scope of Work 1. Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Security Camera System Replacement and Installation Services as described herein. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, parts, travel, incidentals software registration, and licenses necessary to remove and dispose of (14) existing security cameras, one (1) Networked Video Recorder (NVR), two (2) monitors, and all related hardware and accessories and install a total of (20) National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) compliant IP cameras, one (1) NDAA compliant Networked Video Recorder (NVR), and one (1) monitor. 2. Subcontracting is not permitted under this Agreement. All references to subcontracting or Subcontractors as found herein are not applicable to this Agreement. 3. The services shall be performed at Caltrans Headquarters Maintenance Warehouse located at 1900 Royal Oaks Drive, Sacramento, CA 95815. 4. Any reference to Caltrans Contract Manager shall also include designee. 5. This Agreement will commence on March 2, 2026 (estimate), or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement will expire on February 28, 2029 (estimate). The routine services shall be provided during normal business hours Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding State holidays.
