A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** This contract provides for pedestrian crosswalk and illumination improvements at the intersection of SR 14 and Alder Street, including but not limited to installation of RRFBs (Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons) and related permanent signing, illumination system improvements, cement concrete curb ramp replacement, miscellaneous surface restoration, pavement markings, traffic control, and other work in accordance with the Contract Plans, Special Provisions, and Standard Specifications. Bidding and construction must comply with the Contract Provisions and Plans and any issued addenda. Sealed proposals must be submitted on the form provided with the Bid Documents, accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashier's check, or Proposal bond payable to the City of Bingen in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. The City of Bingen reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities. Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer.
