The Public Utilities Department is seeking qualified vendors to provide routine, preventative maintenance, repair services, and replacements for bypass pumps. Each bypass pump has unique operating manuals and maintenance requirements, and all-inclusive hourly rates for Site Superintendent, Supervisor, and Service Technician must be provided. Preventative maintenance must be conducted per manufacturers’ recommendations and industry standards. Service reports, a master maintenance schedule, and required records must be maintained and submitted as specified. Repairs under $5,000 may proceed with verbal or written approval; repairs of $5,000 or more require a quote within three business days. All equipment and parts must be new and free from defects, and proper documentation is required for invoicing. Vendors must be available 24/7 and respond to normal and urgent requests within specified timeframes, and safety and permit responsibilities must be observed. Subcontractor, equipment rental, and markup rules apply. Assignments, work hours, response times, and reporting requirements are specified. All vendors must comply with OSHA and relevant regulations, and permit fees are reimbursable at cost. Price adjustments must be documented and approved as outlined.
