Description: The work to be performed shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the projects entitled Three(3) Dirt Road Restoration Projects. In general, construction consists of the restoration of sections of Thomas Mill Road, Pa's Road, and Yankee Road as shown in the Project Documents. The work shall be fully completed within one hundred and twenty (120) consecutive calendar days from the date that the Notice To Proceed is given. Payment will be made within thirty (30) days after receipt of each Application for Payment as further outlined in the Project Documents. Questions need to be directed ONLY by e-mail to Jim Littlefield, Public Works Director, (jlittlefield@sumtercountyga.us). Bonds: All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing, latest edition. Sumter County reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any and all lawful reasons, including without limitation, the right to reject any andall non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any bidder whom Sumter County believes would not be in the best interest of the project to make an award to that bidder whether because the bid is not responsive, the bidder is unqualified, or of doubtful financial ability, or failsto meet any other pertinent standard or criteria. Question Deadline 01/29/2026 The Work includes the furnishing of all necessary machinery, equipment, tools, labor, and other construction means, and all materials required to perform the Work and including the placing of the Work into acceptable operation. 4.
