Site work and paving for a road / highway in Americus, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
The work to be performed shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the project entitled Dirt Road Restorations Project. In general, construction consists of the restoration of sections of Thomas Mill Road, Pas Road, and Yankee Road as shown in the contract documents. The work will be awarded in one contract and shall be fully completed within one hundred and twenty (120) consecutive calendar days from the date that the Notice To Proceed is given. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes claery marked "Bid Proposal for Dirt Road Restorations Project - RFP# 2026-002. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Sumter County reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any and all lawful reasons, including but not limited to rejection of non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, and bids from unqualified or financially doubtful bidders.
