The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary to complete construction work including but not limited to site clearing, earth moving, aggregate base, storm drainage, concrete paving, play equipment, playground surfacing, topsoil placement, landscaping, and soil erosion control. Bidders must refer to the Plans and Project Manual for additional information. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes identified on the outside as 'Bid for Pathfinder Center Playground Improvements.' Bids received after the designated time will not be considered or accepted. Telephone or email/fax proposals will not be accepted. Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount is required. Addenda may be issued during the bid period and bidders are responsible for monitoring the DropBox for updates and including all addendum-related items and associated costs in the bid. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for a period of 90 days after the bid opening date, unless extended by mutual agreement. The owner reserves the right to accept any proposal, reject any or all proposals, waive any irregularities, or change/cancel the bid process as needed. Prevailing wage rates and compliance with the federal Davis-Bacon Act are not required. State or federal requirements may apply as state or federal funds are assisting in construction. Bidders must sign and notarize the Iran-linked business certification as part of the Bid Proposal form. Non-discrimination in employment is required.
