The City of Molalla is seeking bids to replace (12) existing windows and install (1) new window at Molalla City Hall. We are looking for a contractor who can provide professional recommendations for replacement options, facilitate the full removal of existing and installation of the new window systems. Recommendations for window replacement systems should consider total cost, energy efficiency, and practicality to replace windows within existing conditions. Work to be completed by end of Q2 2026. Scope of Work shall include: o Assessment of existing window conditions, Installation/construction methods, and measurements for replacements. o Determine feasibility of installing (1) additional window. o Recommendation of different window system options (vinyl, aluminum, etc.) for the City to consider. o Provide suggestions to Owner to assist in selections related to glass type, window operation types, and other relevant options that should be considered. o Removal and disposal of existing windows which may include to a reasonable and industrystandard extent necessary removal of casings, siding, etc. o Inspection of rough openings and identification of conditions which may not be previously apparent. o Procure and install Owner's selected window replacements to industry standards, in a weathertight, insulated manner. o Restoration to a reasonable and industry-standard extent of adjacent finishes (casings, moldings, drywall, siding) as necessary related to window installation. o Protection of areas outside the scope from damage related to demolition or installation operations. o All permits required by applicable agencies. o Prevailing Wages to be included where bids exceed $50,000.00.
