This project involves landscaping and signage upgrades along the Terminal 1 Inbound Roadway. Key activities include removing and replacing overhead static and variable message signs, removing retaining walls, clearing and grubbing trees, removing existing Terminal 1 Inbound Roadway monument, installing a hydrant, removing pavement, performing manhole adjustments, salvaging concrete barriers, repairing concrete walls, upgrading irrigation and lighting, installing new limestone and granite hardscape features, enhancing landscaping, and managing traffic control. The goal of the MAC for the utilization of Small Businesses on this project is 11%. Within (1) one MAC business day following the opening of the bids, all bidders who wish to remain in competition for the contract will be required to submit the following information: 1. Bidders will be prohibited from entering into agreements with a SB in which the SB promises not to provide subcontracting quotations to other bidders. A bidder's failure to show a good faith effort to achieve the specified contract goal for the participation of SBs in the completion of this project will be grounds for finding the bid non-responsive.
