The project consists of the removal, handling, drying as necessary, and disposal of approximately 410 dry tons of biosolids from the Sludge Pond at the Middleton Wastewater Treatment Plant. An Idaho Department of Environmental Quality approved seepage test is required to be successful after biosolids removal is complete. The work must be completed in all respects within 180 days following the issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by bid security as specified in the instructions to bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish additional bonds and insurance as prescribed. Bidders and subcontractors must be licensed as Public Works Contractors in accordance with Idaho Code 54-1902 and hold all other licenses required by federal and local laws and regulations. Bids will only be accepted from those bidders who, prior to the bid opening, hold current licenses as Public Works Contractors in the State of Idaho.
