Site work and paving for a road / highway in Middleton, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
This project includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to chip seal 42,000 SY of roadway with 3/8" chip (City supplied), 39,740 SY of roadway with 3/8" chip (contractor supplied) and 8,390 SY with 1/2" chip (contractor supplied). The scope of work consists of traffic control, cleaning road surfaces before and after chip sealing, applying oil, marking roadway paint and thermoplastics before sealing with tabs, covering and uncovering utility lids, distributing aggregate, and rolling. All work, materials, and installation shall comply with the project plans, specifications, Middleton Supplemental Specifications, and the ISPWC. Engineers estimate $360,000 - $390,000 All bids shall be submitted on the prescribed bid form and in the manner indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
