Crossville Research Center Roof Replacement & Window Repairs for Tennessee Technological University, SBC Number 364/011-02-2025. Bids are to be received at the Tennessee Technological University, Facilities Office Building, 220 West 10th Street (Room 116) in Cookeville, Tennessee. A pre-bid conference will be held at the Crossville Research Center, 174 4th Street, Crossville, Tennessee. Question Deadline 02/05/2026 Bidders shall submit questions about bidding documents to Designer in writing. Work includes, but is not limited to removing and properly disposing of existing roof systems shown on the Plans to the existing metal and concrete decks. Remove and properly dispose of existing stone coping, damaged concrete sidewalks, wood blocking, wood fascia, gutters, downspouts, unused rooftop equipment and metal counterflashing. Remove, clean and store existing brick as required to install new through wall flashing at masonry wall locations shown on the Plans. Remove and properly dispose of existing caulk at control joints, limestone joints, window and door frames. Trim window gaskets in preparation for wet glazing. Prepare surfaces for paint. Remove window glass and glazing at locations shown on the Plans. Remove and properly dispose of all asbestos containing materials per Federal, State and Local guidelines. 1.02 Infill all openings in deck and provide and install new lay-in ceiling grid and tiles at locations shown on the Plans. Provide and install new vapor barrier, flat stock and/or tapered isocyanurate insulation, isocyanurate crickets, wood blocking and wood fascia. Provide and install new .090", LSFR, fully adhered, non-reinforced, black EPDM membrane for 30-Year Warranty. Provide and install new fascia cover, gutters, downspouts and metal counterflashing. At brick walls, provide new .060" EPDM through wall flashing, termination bar and metal counterflashing at masonry locations shown on Plans. Coat non-exposed areas of existing steel angles at windows, doors and floor level (shelf angles) with a rust inhibitor. Tuck point existing brick and front entrance stone mortar joints at locations shown on Plans. Provide and install new caulk at window frames, limestone joints and control joints. Wet glaze windows. Provide and install new hat channels and metal panels at masonry walls above the roof at locations shown on the Plans. Paint hand rails, steps, exterior doors and metal work below the roof at locations shown on the Plans. Prime and paint all exposed areas of steel angles at windows and doors. Provide and install two weather hoods. Coat CMU below roof with two coats of elastomeric coating. Provide and install new glass and glazing at locations shown on the Plans. Provide and install new concrete sidewalk sections at locations shown on the Plans. Provide all other work shown on the Plans.
