The work involves the rehabilitation of a 200,000 gallon elevated water storage tank which includes sandblasting and recoating of both the interior and exterior of the tank, containment, installation of confined space placards, new hardware, gaskets, safety climb, and level indicator. The time allotted for this contract is 120 calendar days, with provisions for liquidated damages for non-completion per calendar day. Pre-qualification requirements: Pre-qualification information must be submitted, demonstrating the general ability to perform similar work by providing a list of completed work, allowed and actual times required, and contact persons for three such projects completed in the last ten (10) years, or alternatively, listing previous, similar projects completed for the Owner in the past ten (10) years. Bidders must be properly licensed in accordance with TCA 62-6. Specific information about contractor licensing, including the name, license number, expiration date, and classification applying to the bid, must be included on the envelope containing the bid or provided within the electronic bid documents.
