Renovation of a medical facility in Byng, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Installation of a storefront separation door on the second floor of the CNMC. Request Scope Of work for more details. Will discuss bid due date upon contact. 1. General Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, drawings, warranties, coordination, and supervision required to furnish and install a new interior storefront separation door at the designated clinic/hospital interface location within the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center. All work shall comply with applicable codes, life safety requirements, and facility standards. 2. Shop Drawings and Submittals Contractor shall provide detailed shop drawings with the bid, illustrating door configuration, framing, header conditions, hardware, finishes, and clearances. Drawings shall demonstrate compliance with life safety, egress, and facility requirements. No fabrication shall begin until drawings are reviewed and approved by the Owner and/or Construction Manager. 3. Door and Framing Furnish and install a new aluminum storefront door assembly to match existing adjacent storefront systems in color, finish, and profile. Provide and install required structural header to support storefront framing and door assembly. Install door frame plumb, level, and square to ensure proper operation. Upper transom glass above the door shall be omitted to allow for airflow, as directed. 4. Door Hardware Install panic/push bar hardware on the clinic side of the door. Provide lockable hardware on the hospital side, keyed per Chickasaw Nation Medical Center standards. Door shall be equipped with approved hold-open devices connected to the building fire alarm system or approved magnetic hold-opens. Door hardware shall allow immediate, unobstructed egress and shall not impede any required fire exit. 5. Life Safety and Code Compliance Door, framing, and hardware shall comply with NFPA, IBC, ADA, and all applicable local and state codes. Panic hardware shall always allow free egress. Hold-open devices shall automatically release upon fire alarm activation or power loss. Installation shall not reduce required exit width or interfere with existing exit signage or exit pathways. 6. Construction Containment and Cleanliness Contractor shall be fully responsible for construction containment, including dust control, barriers, and protection of adjacent occupied spaces. Always maintain a clean and orderly work area. Daily cleanup shall be performed, and debris shall be removed from the site in accordance with hospital infection control and safety protocols. 7. Warranties and Workmanship Contractor shall provide a written warranty covering workmanship for a minimum of one (1) year from date of substantial completion. Manufacturer warranties for door, framing, hardware, and hold-open devices shall be provided and submitted at closeout. Contractor shall correct, at no additional cost to the Owner, any defects in workmanship or materials occurring within the warranty period. 8. Testing and Closeout Test door operation, panic hardware, locking function, and hold-open release. Verify smooth operation, proper alignment, and compliance with life safety requirements. Deliver final installation ready for inspection, commissioning, and approval by the Owner and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
