The Springfield Water and Sewer Commission seeks bids from qualified vendors for Sodium Hydroxide as pH control for water systems. The selected vendor will supply approximately 400 tons, dry weight (Na2O), of liquid caustic soda 50% (diaphragm grade) to the West Parish Filters Treatment Plant located at 1515 Granville Road, Westfield, MA 01085-4046. The term of the contract(s) shall be for one year, for an amount not to exceed $300,000.00 per year. All questions must be made in writing and submitted via email in order to be considered. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the Commission to do so.
