Site work for a water / sewer project in Cold Springs, California. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of March 19th, 2026, bids were rejected. No definite date for rebid** The work to be performed includes the installation of approximately one mile of 8-inch water main, complete with valves, connecting to existing infrastructure, and removing and replacing existing fire hydrants to replace a portion of the existing water distribution system in accordance with California drinking water standards. Bids must be submitted on the Company’s Bid Forms. Bids received after the due date and time will be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for 60 calendar days after the bid opening date. The Contractor shall hold an active contractor’s license in the A classification. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 25418 Wheeler Road, in Sierra Village, California. Each bidder must attend the Pre-Bid Conference. Bids will not be accepted from any bidder who did not attend. Prospective bidders must contact project personnel to confirm their attendance and verify instructions to access the site. Bidders may obtain a copy of the Contract Documents from the specified website. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to check the website for any addendum to the Project’s Contract Documents. The project is subject to prevailing wages. Funding has been provided in full or in part from the State Department of Water Resources.
