Demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Urbana, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a 20,000-square-foot municipal facility; for the addition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The project includes demolition and removal of an existing 8,500 SF metal vehicle storage bay and construction of a new 20,000 SF pre-engineered metal building addition. Scope of work also includes roof coating and selective roof replacement at the existing building, along with minor interior and exterior renovations as required to support integration of the new addition. Late submittals will not be accepted. The opening of submittals will occur publicly through an electronic procurement system with witnesses present at the designated time and place. A mandatory pre-submittal meeting will occur at the indicated project address. Proposals must include: Bid Form, Supplementary Information for Similar Projects, preliminary bar chart construction schedule, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Proposed Subcontractors Form, and Bid Bond. Subcontractor usage must be stated and a W-9 provided. Vendors must confirm understanding of requirements, insurance capability, and FOIA acknowledgment. Any proprietary information in the response must be redacted and explained. Vendors are responsible for being familiar with all requirements, including insurance and bonding, and for submitting any required documentation, contracts, or certificates within the specified timeframe after notice of award. The City reserves the right to reject submittals or waive technicalities as deemed in its best interests. Questions must be submitted in writing via the portal by the deadline, and any addenda will be posted to the portal. Bids may be withdrawn through the portal prior to the submission deadline. The City may require submittals and the solicitation to form part of the final contract. All applicable laws, codes, and ordinances apply to the execution of the contract.
