This project includes all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the removal, subgrade/subbase repair, and replacement of existing concrete items and the new construction of various concrete items. These include, but are not limited to, curbwalk; curb and gutter; 4” thick flatwork; 6” thick flatwork, pavement and crosspans; driveways; curb ramps with truncated domes; grading; asphalt patching and traffic control. This contract also includes arterial concrete pavement repair work. All concrete work shall be built to City of Woodland Park Engineering Specifications. The contractor is responsible for sawcutting and removal of broken, heaved, or sunken curb & gutter, sidewalks (attached & detached), cross pans, chase drains, and handicap ramps, using only truck mixed concrete, CDOT Class B/D 4,500 psi with fiber mesh, performing material removal and disposal, subgrade replacement with class 6 recycled concrete road base, doweling new concrete into adjacent concrete with epoxy coated rebar, repairing any damaged asphalt or landscaping & irrigation, providing traffic control, erosion control, surveying and utility locates, notifying residents of impacts, providing asphalt patch if needed, ensuring quality assurance, handling permits and communication with Public Works, providing concrete washout, cleanup, following City of Colorado Springs details, and providing a two-year warranty on all work. The On Call HMA Asphalt Patch Scope of Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment to install hot asphalt patching of various grades and thicknesses, including saw cutting, removing, loading, haul, and disposal of existing materials, preparing and compacting the subgrade, installing hot asphalt patching, and completing work per city standards. Traffic control devices must be in place prior to construction activities, and the contractor must correct any traffic control deficiencies immediately or suspend work. Payment will be based on field measured installed square yard basis for the appropriate asphalt patch grade.
