Site work for a water / sewer project in Yamhill, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the installation and commissioning of one (1) new sodium hypochlorite generation system at the water treatment plant. The project includes, but is not limited to, the following major elements: furnishing and installation of the sodium hypochlorite generation system; furnishing and installation of all associated piping, valves, fittings, supports, and connections required for proper operation of the system; furnishing and installation of all required electrical equipment, including power distribution, wiring, and grounding; integration and installation of control systems, including a programmable logic controller (PLC), human-machine interface (HMI), instrumentation, and all associated control hardware and software; coordination of system integration with existing plant systems, as required; testing, start-up, commissioning, and functional verification of the installed system. All work shall be performed in accordance with the contract documents, applicable codes and standards, manufacturer requirements, and the owner's specifications. Bids must be submitted on the prescribed forms and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed in favor of McMinnville Water & Light in an amount not less than ten (10) percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the necessary performance and payment bonds for the faithful performance of the contract as prescribed in the contract documents. McMinnville Water & Light may reject any offer not in compliance with the contract provisions and all prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements, including the requirement to demonstrate the bidder's responsibility under ORS 279C.375(3)(b), and may reject for good cause all offers after finding that doing so is in the public interest. They also reserve the right to waive informalities in a bid submission if in the best interest of McMinnville Water & Light.
