Renovation of an educational facility in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the West Chester Area School District, East High School - Roof Refurbishment Project in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Bids must be submitted online via the PennBid Program web site. All bids must include a Non-Collusion Affidavit, a Contractor’s Qualification Statement, and a certified check or bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, equal to 10% of the bid amount, made payable to the West Chester Area School District. Bids must remain valid for sixty days and may be rejected at any time before the expiration of this period. The successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract price. Bidding documents are available at no cost online at PennBid. All questions regarding the project must be submitted through PennBid by the specified date. This project is subject to prevailing wage. The School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities, and to act in the best interest of the District. The project specifically solicits bids for the partial roof refurbishment/replacement at East High School, focusing on the Gym and Auxiliary Gym areas.
