As of February 25, 2026, the project was awarded to Heartland Construction, with an awarded amount of $524,108.90. Intent: 1. Karius Court Work includes removing curb and gutter, removing concrete sidewalk, common excavation, excavation below subgrade, placement of crushed aggregate and HMA pavement, installation of reinforced concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, curb ramp detectable warning field, riprap, concrete flared end sections, storm sewer pipe, storm manholes, inlets, sanitary sewer PVC, sanitary manholes, water main PVC, gate valves, connections to existing water main, hydrant assemblies, silt fence, inlet protection, temporary ditch checks, topsoil placement, seeding, fertilizing, mulching, erosion mat, and sawing concrete. This is a unit price contract with quantities as specified for determining the low bidder. Bids must be submitted electronically via QuestCDN, with all blanks filled in, and accompanied by bid security in the amount of five percent of the maximum bid price. Successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor defects or irregularities, and accept the bid in the owner's best interest.
