Site work for a water / sewer project in Slinger, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids are being received for the STH 60 Water Main Relay Project. The project consists of approximately: 100 linear feet of 8" water main (open cut), 810 linear feet of 8" water main (directionally drilled), 3 8" gate valves, 1 12" gate valve, 2 hydrant assemblies, 40 linear feet of water services (open cut), 520 linear feet of water services (directionally drilled), 2 connections to existing water main, and 200 square yards of lawn restoration. This is a unit price contract. Estimated quantities listed are for determining the low bidder. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be submitted electronically via Questcdn.com, using the electronic bid forms provided. All required blanks in the forms must be completed. Contract documents can be obtained from Questcdn for a non-refundable fee. Bids must be accompanied by bid security (bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check) in an amount of 5% of the bidder's maximum bid price. The successful bidder must execute the contract and furnish required performance and payment bonds within 15 days of award, or the bid security will be forfeited as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn for 45 days from the date of bid opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor defects or irregularities, and accept the bid in the best interest of the owner.
