Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Skippack, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work along roadways includes the following for both base bid and alternate streets: mobilization, core samples, traffic control, 1-1/2" milling, 5" base repair, leveling course, removal and replacement of inlet tops, ADA ramps and landings, 4" concrete sidewalk, and concrete curb, as well as installation of new ADA ramps and 1-1/2" wearing course. Specific quantities and locations are provided for each street included in the project. Sealed bids must be received by the Township Manager. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked as a proposal for the project. Requirements include a 10% bid bond, 100% performance bond, and 100% payment bond. Prevailing state wage rates and the Public Works Employment Verification Act apply. Each bidder must include security with the bid in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the instructions to bidders. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and make the award as appears most advantageous to the Township.
