Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Skippack, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supplies, and equipment necessary for the installation of ADA ramps. This includes mobilization, removal of street name sign and stop sign, traffic control and maintenance, installation and removal of alternate path, construction of a five-foot paved pedestrian trail and concrete curb, removal and replacement of existing concrete sidewalk and ADA ramps, installation of painted pedestrian crosswalk, stop bar, new street name sign, and traffic control signs, as well as topsoil, raking, seeding, and ADA compliant fencing. Bidders must submit sealed proposals marked clearly for the ADA Ramps Project. Requirements include a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, and 100% Payment Bond. Prevailing state wage rates and the Public Works Employment Verification Act apply. Each bid must be accompanied by security as specified in the instructions to bidders. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to make such award as appears most advantageous.
