Public notice is hereby given for proposals for the following work: Fort Lee Intermediate School New Rooftop Chiller. Terms of proposal and Surety required are fixed by the specifications. Drawings and specifications are available for inspection and may be picked up from Environetics Group Architects, P.C. at 180 Sylvan Avenue, Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632 during business hours for a non-refundable deposit of $30.00 per digital copy. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, drawn to the order of the Board of Education, for ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid but not in excess of $20,000. A 100% performance bond will be required of the successful bidder. Bidders must be pre-qualified to bid on work specified by the New Jersey State Board of Education. Bidders must also comply with the provisions of the Public Disclosure Law. Bidders are required to comply with requirements N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bids must be submitted by hand delivery or time and date receipted courier to the Board of Education office at 231 Main Street, 3rd floor. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or to accept the bid that, in its judgment, will be in the best interest of the School District. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defects or informalities in any bid, should it be deemed to be in the best interest of the District to do so. The Board will not assume responsibility for bids not delivered in person to the Board of Education at the time called for bid opening.
