The project shall in general consist of but is not limited to reroofing and painting of exterior and interior of the buildings, HVAC, ADA renovations for the restrooms, painting of doors and new flooring for Building 3321 auto body as called for on the Plans and Technical Specifications. All work related to Building 3323 machine, welding & industrial mechanical technology, shall be included in Additive Bid Item No. 1. Requests for substitutions regarding the IFB and its requirements, must be submitted to the Technical Representative of the Procurement Officer (TRPO), Darren Ito via E-mail at dito@hawaii.edu no later than February 10, 2026. The deadline to submit requests for clarification of the requirements of this IFB is on February 10, 2026. All clarification requests shall be submitted via HePS QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS section, and all responses shall be issued in an addendum. 3321 Auto Body and 3323 Machine, Welding & Industrial Mechanical Technology Shops, Renovation, Hawaii Community College, Hawaii, Project No. CC-23-9106A, and offers to furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete all work as specified, in strict accordance with the true intent and meaning of the bid documents and shall be completed within FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY ONE (551) consecutive calendar days from the effective date designated in the Notice to Proceed. Anticipated on-site construction start date is May 17, 2027. Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary for removing and disposing of vegetative and unwanted material for areas of proposed development or improvement. The work to be performed under this Section shall include clearing the premises of all obstacles and obstructions, the removal of which will be necessary for the proper reception, construction, execution and completion of the other work included in this contract.
