Sealed bids are requested for materials for the maintenance unit, including washed gravel, pit-run gravel, crushed limestone, railroad ballast, base course aggregate, regular cold mix, high performance cold mix, gasoline, diesel fuel, oversized rocks (No. 2 washed), and lubricating oils. All bids pertain to an approximate one-year period ending December 31, 2026. Specifications and bid forms are available at the specified office. Bidders must state on the outside of a sealed envelope their name and address, the items bid, the date of bid opening, and address it to the appropriate recipient. All bids must use the provided forms, completed and signed by a principal of the bidding firm. Rock and stone bidders must guarantee delivery of five to eighteen yard trucks within 48 hours of notice and provide a scale ticket with delivery. Vendors are obligated to provide materials, equipment, or supplies for all purchases made in connection with projects arising from declared disasters, subject to contract terms. The awarding body reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all bids or parts thereof.
