Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in New Castle, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project is a multi-year effort involving both structures of the Delaware Memorial Bridge. The work consists of a Base Bid and one Additive Alternate, which may be awarded at the Authority's discretion. The Base Bid Work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for steel, stringer, and bearings repairs. The Additive Alternate No. 1 work encompasses other steel rehabilitation and safety work as detailed in the Specifications and Plans/Drawings. Bidders are instructed that the Additive Alternate may or may not be awarded at the sole discretion of the Authority. Question Deadline 02/24/2026 Any questions, clarifications, or requests for revisions to the Contract Documents must be forwarded to the Authority in writing via CapEx no later than six (6) business days prior to the bid opening date and time
