Site work and paving for a road / highway in Allison Park, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Contract A involves the 2" +/- mill and bituminous resurfacing of various streets in Hampton Township, including cutting keyways at abutting roadways, 25,600 S.Y. of 2" rotomilling and profiling of existing roadway surface, 905 S.Y. of base repair, 25,600 S.Y. of 2" 9.5 mm fine graded Superpave bituminous wearing course 0.0 to 0.3 Esal's with Forta Fiber or approved equal, traffic control, and all necessary preparatory and cleanup work. Contract B includes 2" +/- and 3" +/- mill and bituminous resurfacing of various streets, cutting keyways at abutting roadways, 19,350 S.Y. of 2" rotomilling and profiling, 12,600 S.Y. of 3" rotomilling and profiling, 1,360 S.Y. of base repair, 19,350 S.Y. of 2" 9.5 mm fine graded Superpave bituminous wearing course 0.0 to 0.3 Esal's with Forta Fiber or approved equal, 1,660 tons of 2" 19 mm Superpave bituminous binder course 0.0 to 0.3 Esal's with Forta Fiber or approved equal, 12,600 S.Y. of 1-1/2" 9.5 mm fine graded Superpave bituminous wearing course 0.0 to 0.3 Esal's with Forta Fiber or approved equal, traffic control, and the necessary preparatory and cleanup work. Contract C covers 2" +/- mill and bituminous resurfacing of various streets, cutting keyways at abutting roadways, 9,000 S.Y. of 2" rotomilling and profiling, 200 S.Y. of base repair, 9,000 S.Y. of 2" 9.5 mm fine graded Superpave bituminous wearing course 0.0 to 0.3 Esal's with Forta Fiber or approved equal, traffic control, and all necessary preparatory and cleanup work. Hampton Township reserves the right to award the contract consisting of any or all roads within the scope of work and may add or delete roads and/or quantities at the unit prices bid. Proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope with the correct contract marking. Bids must be in separate envelopes with proper designation and separate bid bonds for each contract. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified as a prime contractor with the appropriate work classification codes of E, F, and F1, and must attach pre-qualification certification to the outside of the bid. Performance and labor and material payment bonds, public liability and property damage insurance certificates, and workmen's compensation certificates as specified are required with the executed agreement. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages apply to the project. Proposals must include a certified check or bidder's bond from a surety company authorized in Pennsylvania, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into an agreement within 15 days of notice of award.
