Contract A involves bituminous resurfacing of various streets in Hampton Township, including cutting keyways at abutting roadways, 25,600 S.Y. of 2" rotomilling and profiling, 905 S.Y. of base repair, and 25,600 S.Y. of 2" 9.5 mm Fine Graded Superpave bituminous wearing course with Forta Fiber or approved equal, traffic control, and necessary preparatory and cleanup work. Contract B consists of 19,350 S.Y. of 2" rotomilling and profiling, 12,600 S.Y. of 3" rotomilling and profiling, 1,360 S.Y. of base repair, 19,350 S.Y. of 2" 9.5 mm Fine Graded Superpave bituminous wearing course with Forta Fiber or approved equal, 1,660 tons of 2" 19 mm Superpave bituminous binder course, 12,600 S.Y. of 1 ½" 9.5 mm Fine Graded Superpave bituminous wearing course, traffic control, preparatory, and cleanup work. Contract C includes 9,000 S.Y. of 2" rotomilling and profiling, 200 S.Y. of base repair, 9,000 S.Y. of 2" 9.5 mm Fine Graded Superpave bituminous wearing course with Forta Fiber or approved equal, traffic control, and necessary preparatory and cleanup work. Hampton Township reserves the right to award any or all roads within the scope of work and to add or delete roads and/or quantities at the unit prices bid. For all contracts, all bids must be submitted in separate envelopes with the proper designation and accompanying bid bonds for each contract. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified as a prime contractor with relevant work classification codes and must submit valid pre-qualification certification attached to the outside of the bid. Performance, labor and material bonds, insurance certificates, and compliance with Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages are required. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond for ten percent (10%) of the proposal amount as a guarantee of entering into the agreement if awarded.
