The City of Alton, Illinois invites sealed bids for the demolition of buildings in accordance with the provisions, specifications, and bidding instructions set forth in this Invitation for Bid. Any questions regarding this bid should be directed to Lori Bockholdt, Comptroller's Office, City of Alton (618) 463-3545. Copies of the Asbestos Abatement report(s) will be provided upon request. The City cannot accept your bid response via fax. Contractor shall guarantee, in writing, that all work conforms to the requirements of the specifications. The City of Alton reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids, or any part thereof, on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in accrual of any right, claim or cause of action by any unsuccessful bidder against the City of Alton, Illinois. The City further reserves the right to accept any bid or any part thereof, or to waive any informalities and to make an award in its best interest.
