The general location of the proposed work is from the intersection of Wells Road and North County Road in the south to the intersection of Miraflores Drive and North County Road in the north. Work includes underground construction associated with drainage infrastructure and the installation of new concrete curbing and asphalt pavement to correct the profile and cross-slope of the roadway and to better protect the grassed median from vehicular traffic. In consideration of the importance of the Town Landmarked banyan tree canopy at this location, it is of the utmost importance that the contractor follows the steps outlined within the plans and specifications to ensure the survival of the banyan trees along both sides North County Road. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in this Invitation to Bid. The Town reserves the right to award to that bidder who will best serve the interests of the Town, and to accept or reject any and/or all bids and to award or not award a contract based on this bid proposal.
