Demolition and site work for a development in Granger, Iowa. Completed plans call for the demolition of a development.
This project consists of all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to complete the demolition of existing roads, abandonment of associated infrastructure, pouring of new curbs, and final grading within select areas of the Fourmile Creek Greenway. Question Deadline 02/17/2026 at 5:00 PM CT Inquiries concerning this IFB must be submitted via Online. Polk County Conservation Board will respond on the BidNet Direct posting which will be published as addendums on February 18 th by 4:00pm Each bidder shall accompany the bid with a bid security as defined in Iowa Code section 26.8. The bid security must be in an amount set forth in the bidding documents and made payable to Polk County Conservation Board. Failure to execute a contract for the proposed work and file an acceptable Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a certificate of liability insurance within thirty days of the award of the contract will be just and sufficient cause for the rescinding of the award and the forfeiture of the bid security. Sales tax exemption certificates will be issued to the successful bidder and its subcontractors for the purchase of materials and supplies related to this project. By virtue of statutory authority, a preference will be given to products and provisions grown and produced within the State of Iowa and to Iowa domestic labor.
