Renovation of an educational facility in Redmond, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Obsidian Middle School Modernization project includes a limited modernization and remodeling effort aimed at improving educational facilities throughout the campus. Planned upgrades include: Interior Renovations: Replacement of ceiling tiles and other interior finishes, including flooring removal and concrete polishing, in the existing school building to create a refreshed, modern learning environment. Lighting Improvements: School-wide upgrades to lighting systems and lighting controls to enhance visibility and energy efficiency. Restroom Remodeling: Renovation of restroom facilities to improve overall conditions and ensure compliance with accessibility standards. Each bid must be accompanied by an unconditional cashier's check, certified check or surety bond of the bidder in the amount of ten percent (10%). Unsuccessful bidders will have their security refunded to them when the contract has been awarded. The Redmond School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to postpone the award of the contract for sixty (60) days. All bids and all prices quoted in bids shall be firm for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid closing date. Question Deadline 02/17/2026 at 2:00 PM PT If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed contract finds discrepancies in, or omission from, or is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the drawings, specifications or form of contract documents, they may submit to the Owners Project Manager an electronic request to Steve Earle, Senior Project Manager, steve.earle@hmkco.org for an interpretation thereof to be received in the office of the Owners Project Manager no later than SEVEN (7) calendar days before bid
