Site work for a water / sewer project in Kewa, New Mexico. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project involves the design of the replacement of approximately 20,500 linear feet of the existing water transmission main, including all necessary valves, fittings, appurtenances, and mitigations. The replacement must be conducted while maintaining established system operations. The selected Offeror is required to ensure the project meets all federal, state, and tribal design requirements, complete all appropriate communications, correspondence, and reports in a timely manner, and arrange and participate with the Pueblo in a detailed review of the 30%, 60%, and 90% design phases. The Offeror will also prepare the bid package for advertising and award for the construction of the Water Transmission Main Replacement. Proposals will be mainly evaluated based on the firm's qualifications, relevant experience, and references, proposed team, and detailed work plan. Interested firms must submit one original proposal, six copies, and two electronic copies on USB flash drive, all clearly marked and sealed. Question Deadline 02/27/2026: Should an Offeror require clarifications regarding the RFP or have questions, the Offeror shall submit those questions in writing by email to Joe Mauser, P.E., Project Engineer at joe.mauser@kewa-nsn.us Award of Contract May 1, 2026 (tentative)
