**As of April 13, 2026, the project was awarded to Dicor Construction Inc. but the awarded amount is not available.** Sealed proposals are requested for public improvements to the Central Business District Parking Lot in Smithtown, New York. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled for Bid #26-006. Each bid must be accompanied by either a certified check from a solvent bank or trust company acceptable to the Town, or a bid bond from a surety in a form acceptable to the Town, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid price. The check or bond should be made payable to the Town of Smithtown to assure contract execution if awarded. All bids must be submitted complete; pages should not be removed. Each bid must include a Non-Collusive Bidding Certificate and Disclosure Statement. Minority and woman-owned businesses are encouraged to participate. The project may be funded entirely or in part by a Federal assistance agreement, subject to federal, state, local, or tribal requirements including the Davis-Bacon Act, EPA's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program, Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act, and American Iron and Steel (AIS) Act. Contractors must not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex and must comply with applicable federal regulations in the award and administration of contracts. Failure to comply may result in termination of the contract or other remedies.
