Renovation of a road / highway in Charleston, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway.

As of March 31, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded today. Proposals are requested for the Turnpike Signing Renovation Contract TPS-1-26 covering miles 36.4 to 60.0 in Raleigh and Fayette counties. All work under this contract must be completed by April 30, 2027. Bids must be submitted electronically via Bid Express. Proposals must be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check or bid bond in favor of the West Virginia Parkways Authority for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal or $2,000, whichever is greater. Any bid not accompanied by a valid bid bond or check will be considered irregular. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive any or all formalities in bidding. Minority Owned and Women Owned businesses are strongly encouraged to submit proposals. All firms must certify that they practice Equal Employment Opportunities. Pre-qualification requirements: Prospective bidders must be prequalified in accordance with SECTION 102.1 of the WVDOH Standard Specifications. All bids submitted by bidders who have been debarred or declared ineligible by the Director of the Purchasing Division shall be rejected. All firms submitting proposals must certify Equal Employment Opportunities practices..
