Site work and paving for a road / highway in Saint Clair, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work is more particularly described as 3,350 Tons of asphalt, 18,900 square yards of base stabilization and 440 tons of shoulder aggregate on various roads with pavement markings, monument boxes, and miscellaneous items. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified/cashier's check or Bid Bond on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable to the St. Clair County Road Commission or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid as guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive irregularities in any bid and make award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the County. This is a highway paving project involving 3,350 tons of asphalt overlay, base stabilization work on 18,900 square yards, and 440 tons of shoulder aggregate across multiple roads in St. Clair County. May require MDOT pre-qualification for hot mix asphalt paving, performance and labor/material bonds at 100% of contract value.
