The project consists of the demolition and replacement of the existing waterproofing on the deck, the installation of rigid insulation and a topping slab, the replacement of the deck finishes, and the removal of the skylight. Pre-qualification requirements: - At least two institutional or higher education projects located in the state of California for which the firm served as the prime contractor and for which the construction cost was at least $600,000 each. - At least two projects that included waterproofing repairs with a rigid insulation, where the construction cost of this scope was at least $600,000 each. - At least two projects that included exterior decorative tiling works, where the construction cost of this scope was at least $300,000 each. - At least two projects that were constructed in an occupied building. - At least one project for which the firm self-performed at least 10% of the construction. - Contractors must agree to comply with all conditions including state prevailing wages, 10% bid bond, 100% payment and performance bonds, and insurance requirements. - General Building (B) California Contractors License is required. - Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. - Compliance with UC Fair Wage policy and all applicable federal, state, and local working condition requirements is required.
