**As of March 25, 2026 project has been canceled. As of this time it is unknown if when project will rebid. Provide a new underground fire water service line from Health Science Road to the Environmental Health and Safety Services Facility to support a new automatic fire sprinkler system. This new system will replace the existing foam fire suppression system and will serve multiple hazard areas within the facility. UCI reserves the right to reject any or all responses to this notice, to waive non-material irregularities, and to deem Contractors prequalified for the project. To prequalify, Contractors must agree to comply with all conditions including state prevailing wages, 10% bid bond, 100% payment and performance bonds, and insurance requirements. The successful Contractor will hold a current and active General Engineering (A) or General Building (B) Contractor license. Every effort will be made to ensure that all persons have equal access to contracts and other business opportunities with the University within the limits imposed by law or University policy. Each Bidder may be required to show evidence of its equal employment opportunity policy.
