The Project Consists of the Construction of Approximately 1 Mile of 10' Wide Concrete and Asphalt Shared-use Path Within the Dustin Road Right-of-way, Beginning East of East Harbor Drive and Terminating at Navarre Avenue at the Aldi Signalized Intersection. Work Includes Excavation, Aggregate Base, Asphalt Concrete, Concrete Walk, Drainage Improvements, Signage, Pavement Markings, Erosion Control Measures, and All Incidental and Miscellaneous Work Necessary to Complete the Project. Each Bidder is Required to Furnish With Its Proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in Accordance With Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid Security Furnished in Bond Form, Shall Be Issued by a Surety Company or Corporation Licensed in the State of Ohio to Provide Said Surety Attention of Bidders is Called to All of the Requirements Contained in This Bid Packet, Particularly to the Federal Labor Provisions and Davis-bacon Wages, Various Insurance Requirements, Various Equal Opportunity Provisions; and the Requirements for a Performance Bond or a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for 100% of the Contract Price. This Project is Classified as a Local Public Agency Project With the City of Oregon Administering the Project and the Ohio Department of Transportation Providing Project Oversight. No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Within Sixty (60) Days After the Actual Date of the Opening Thereof. The Council of the City of Oregon, Oh, Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informalities or to Reject Any or All Bids. The Estimate for the Base Bid Cost of Construction is $1,142,500.00.
