Reference Number 0000412266 Bid Intent Not Available The City of Box Elder is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors to install a new polypropylene water tank liner in Tank 6, and related appurtenances. Alternate bid item work includes replacement of sacrificial anodes, manway gasket, stainless steel band securing liner, and Tideflex joint cleaning and replacement. Bidders shall review the work areas to verify the quantities of work for the project. Bids may not be withdrawn prior to thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The Owner will award the bid within ten (10) days after the bid opening. The Owner and Contractor hereby acknowledges that the time of completion of the work is of vital importance, and the Contractor will be required to complete the work within the time stipulated in the contract. The tank cannot be taken offline between May 16, 2026 and September 15, 2026. Once the tank is taken out of service, work must be completed within 30 days. Regardless of actual construction start date, all work specified in the contract documents must be substantially completed by November 1, 2026, and completed in every respect and ready for final payment no later than December 1, 2026.
