Site work for a water / sewer project in Cannon Beach, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes approximately 1504 feet of 6-inch HDPE water main installation and pavement restoration, replacing 2-inch AC pipe on Deer Place, 2-inch PVC pipe on Coho Place, and 4-inch PVC pipe on East Chinook Avenue with 6-inch HDPE pipe, and installation of two new fire hydrants. All work will be performed within the City right-of-way. Bidders must demonstrate experience with sensitive, critical infrastructure such as water mains, state highways, and work within city limits. Bidders must submit a completed First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form in a separate, sealed envelope within two working hours of the bid opening. Bidders are required to be registered with the Construction Contractor's Board. Bid security of not less than 5% of the bid must accompany each bid. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates under ORS 279C.800-870. The owner reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with prescribed public bidding procedures, requirements, or for good cause, and may waive bid irregularities or informalities. No bidder may withdraw or modify their bid after the bid opening for 30 days. The selected contractor and all subcontractors performing work must obtain a city business license prior to starting work. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for all prospective bidders.
