Renovation of a fire / police facility in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Sealed proposals will be received online for the Wyomissing Firehouse Restoration Project. The work consists of restoration of the exterior portion of the Wyomissing Fire Department firehouse at 1259 Penn Ave, Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. The scope includes, but is not limited to: washing of the exterior façade, replacing damaged brick, routing out and repointing mortar joints, repairing water damaged elements and installing stainless steel drips, covering exposed roof termination bar, treating window and door lintels, and applying water repellant to the exterior. Bidders must conform to the General Conditions and detailed Specifications. Only questions submitted online via the designated system will be considered. The bid must include a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond for ten percent of the bid. Required documents include a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor's Qualification Statement. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond for 100% of the Contract amount within ten calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, accept any portion of any bid, and to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received.
