Furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to perform STORM SEWER & PAVING - SECTION I for Sanitary and Improvement District No. 385, Sarpy County, Nebraska, as per the plans and specifications, and at the locations shown on the detailed drawings. The work consists essentially of constructing various sizes of RCP storm sewer pipe, curb inlets of multiple types, storm manholes, concrete collars, external frame seals, box culvert, headwalls/wingwalls, rip-rap, concrete pavement with integral curb, subgrade preparation, pavement and sign removals, street name and traffic control sign installations, permanent pavement paint markings, jetting sanitary sewer, and related tasks, as itemized in the estimated quantities list. All proposals must be submitted on specified bid forms and accompanied by a bid bond or certified check. The successful bidder will enter into a contract in accordance with the requirements of the plans and specifications, and provide a contract and maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for sixty days after bid opening. The work to be performed in this improvement shall consist of the construction of a system of paved public roads and streets of varying widths with Portland Cement Concrete or other approved materials with a minimum thickness of seven inches, together with integral curb and gutter, necessary removals, grading, street signs and necessary appurtenances for a completed project; the installation of a storm sewer system of reinforced concrete pipe or other approved materials, together with manholes, inlets, structures, necessary appurtenances and other work that is incidental and necessary for a completed improvement.
