Site work for an educational facility in Anamosa, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
The project involves the installation of new metering packages at designated electrical equipment and other related work, including general electrical work and miscellaneous tasks as shown on the drawings. Bids will be received for a single Prime Contract on a Lump Sum basis. Each bidder must include a bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount in the form of a cashier's or certified check or bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to provide corporate surety bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 30 days after the deadline. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder, provided the bidding requirements are met. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities and to reject any or all bids. Contractors may purchase materials, supplies, and equipment for the project without liability for sales tax using an exemption certificate and authorization letter, which will be provided for this project only. Bidders must be prepared to submit a performance and payment bond, and out-of-state bidders must provide an Out-of-State Contractor Bond to the Iowa Division of Labor in accordance with Chapter 91C of the Code of Iowa. Do not include sales tax in the bid form.
