Renovation of a water / sewer project in Union Beach, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The scope of work generally includes the following: Replacement of two (2) mechanical bar screens with new, replacement of three (3) manually operated influent sluice gates with new that are electrically motor operated, installation of a permanent headworks bypass connection, concrete rehabilitation of the existing raw sewage wet well and installation of a temporary bypass pumping system to support the replacement and upgrades work. Provide all required appurtenant WORK shown on the Contract Drawings or indicated in the Contract Specifications. The Scope of Work listed below for Contract 153 is general in nature and is not to be construed as a complete description of all Work to be performed. In general, the Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Replacement of two (2) mechanical bar screens. 2. Replacement of three (3) influent sluice gates. 3. Installation of a permanent bypass piping connection. 4. Concrete rehabilitation in the existing wet well. 5. Installation of a temporary bypass pumping system. 6. Replacement of lighting.
