Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Selma, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The contractor shall remove twelve LED parking lot and pier lights, remove unnecessary electrical wiring and components, install nine solar LED streetlights and three solar LED floodlights, install required electrical components, accessories, and mounting equipment, and repair remaining openings on light poles in accordance with the scope of work. Location: U.S. Coast Guard Shore Side Detachment, 1900 Coast Guard Road, Demopolis, AL 36732. This is set aside 100% for small business. Offerors must be actively registered in SAM.gov. Payment and performance bonds are not required. The United States Coast Guard is accepting proposals for qualified individuals or firms to provide services for the removal of 12 LED parking lot and pier lights, removal of unnecessary electrical wiring or components, installation of 9 solar LED streetlights and 3 solar LED floodlights, installation of necessary electrical components or accessories, installation of necessary mounting equipment, and repair of remaining openings on light poles in in Demopolis, AL. U.S. Coast Guard Cutter WEDGE (WLR-75307) is accepting proposals for qualified individuals or firms to provide services for the removal of 12 LED parking lot and pier lights, removal of unnecessary electrical wiring or components, installation of 9 solar LED streetlights and 3 solar LED floodlights, installation of necessary electrical components or accessories, installation of necessary mounting equipment, and repair of remaining openings on light poles. Contractor will provide 9 new solar LED streetlights and 3 new solar LED floodlights to meet minimum specifications to adequately illuminate the required area and at minimum meet the specifications of lights being removed, necessary electrical components, mounting equipment, hardware, or any unlisted supplies needed for installation. Contractor will provide any trim, hardware, caulk, or sealing materials needed to complete. Contractor will also perform function tests on new lights. We request contractors furnish labor, materials, and equipment to replace above noted items. Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the SOW and it is highly recommended to conduct a site visit to the facility to take field measurements, evaluations, etc, and become familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed
