Separate sealed Bids are requested for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appurtenances necessary for the construction of the Pinson Dr., Cut-Off Rd., and Patterson Drive Water Main Replacement. The project consists of replacement of an existing 2-inch water line with 4,099 ft. of 8-inch DIP water line. The existing water system will remain operational until installation and testing of the new waterline is complete and approved. Three wet-taps are required and one cut-in connection at the intersection of Patterson and Cut-off Roads to "loop" the distribution system. Approximately 1,950 lineal feet of trenching through improved hard surfaces is required, including replacement of those surfaces. The remainder of the proposed waterline is outside of existing roadways. Numerous instances of work near existing gas lines require minimum horizontal separation, vertical clearance, and polywrapping of new water lines, with verification of gas line locations by potholes. The project disturbs approximately 0.90 acres within the Nancy Creek Tributary and requires ES&PC best management practices. Work is to be substantially complete within 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed and finally complete within 210 calendar days. Bidders must be listed on the Engineer's list of plan holders who have purchased the Contract Documents, Specifications, and Drawings. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked for the project. All questions must be submitted to CTI Engineers in writing.
