The project is for remedial soil excavation at 611 South Montgomery Street, Ojai, CA (Specification No. 25-CDD-03). The work includes removing approximately 136 cubic yards of lead-impacted soil and 40 cubic yards of arsenic-impacted soil, transporting it to a licensed waste facility, and completing excavation, backfilling, and stockpile removal over several working days. The work must comply with all regulatory requirements, including dust control, air monitoring, and erosion control. Contractors must hold a valid Class A or C-12 license, HAZ certification, and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations. Prevailing wage laws apply, and a 10% bid guarantee is required. Plans and specifications are available from the City of Ojai for a fee. Bidders are required to inspect the site of the work in order to satisfy themselves, by personal examination or by such other means as they may prefer, of the location of the proposed work and as to the actual conditions of and at the site of work. Requests for an interpretation shall be made in writing and delivered to the Agency at least five (5) working days before the time announced for opening the bids.
