Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Ojai, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; stadium; and educational facility.

Stadium Improvements at Nordhoff JR High and High School, Bid Package No. 2 - Permanent Grandstands & Press Box. All bids must be made on the District's forms and received at the Office of the Bond Department. The Contract Time is 150 days. Contractors should consult the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and General Requirements regarding milestones and liquidated damages. Each bid must strictly conform with and be responsive to the Contract Documents as defined in the General Conditions. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any irregularities or informalities. Each bidder shall submit a list of designated subcontractors as required by the Subletting and Subcontracting Fair Practices Act. The District will permit the substitution of securities for any moneys withheld to ensure performance. Bidder’s security must be in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of bid as a guarantee of contract entry and provision of required bonds and documents. Compliance with prevailing wage laws is mandatory. Separate payment and performance bonds, each at 100% of the contract amount, are required. All bonds must be issued by a California admitted surety. Bidders must meet requirements regarding Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Programs. Any substitution requests must be made at the time of Bid with the designated form. It is the bidder’s sole responsibility to ensure timely delivery and receipt of bids at the designated location; late bids will be returned unopened. No phone or facsimile services will be available to bidders on the premises. Pre-qualification requirements: Prospective bidders must submit a completed set of prequalification documents using forms provided by the District through the quality bidders program. Prequalification documents must be submitted no less than ten business days prior to bid opening. Each bidder must be a licensed contractor under the California Business and Professions Code and be licensed to perform the specified work. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active Class A or B License at the time of bid and throughout the contract. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered and qualified to perform public work under Labor Code section 1725.5. Each bid must be accompanied by bidder’s security as specified in the Contract Documents. Contractors must furnish certified payroll records as required by law. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety days after the opening date.
